We formed SMSCab with the vision of creating a service which woud eliminate the frustration we felt from relying on current car service options. We know what it's like when the subway is down or when it's raining, cold, or the end of the Super Bowl---basically busy signals forever no matter who you call. It sucks. We learned that car services won't ever have enough lines to manage peak times because it would be inefficient to do so- the other 95% of the time those lines would lay dormant. That is why we think 'texting' for a car makes a lot of sense.
